Hello all, does ANYONE out there know where I can get "pager" tone activation frequencies (not the radio frequency, BUT actual TONE frequencies that trip the pagers) for Nassau County Fire Departments?? Many of the newer scanners come with a fire tone out feature, and I recently picked up a Uniden BCT15. Help !!

That information usually isnt public information. Try searching the board first before you post and see if this question has been answered. I am sure it has quite a few times.

I put a piece of freeware in my downloads section that can decode the tones for you. Your going to need a scanner, and a soundcard, and a patch cable. Hook the scanner to your soundcard, and run the program. If you can get some tones, please let me know. I would like to add the tones to my website Unfortunately, I can not use that software to pull tones from recorded files Direct link to Download www.w2lie.net/download.php?list.18

I have started working on decoding the Tone Outs for the BCT-15, BR330t, BC396t, and 996. The collection of tones is starting to take shape in my downloads section. From those audio clips, I will be able to figure out the Tones. The only thing I need to know, to be even closer, it if each department uses QCII or Plectron tones. You see, I can get close, but I can't get exact tones. When I take my values and match it to the tone chart, I can get the true tone values.
What tones are you guys looking for? If you shoot me a priority list, I can try and work on those first, to see how close I am to getting these right.
I have a BR330t on order with Amazon, so I should be able to start testing my "project" as well.

is it true you can only monitor one tone at a time? you can't scan multiple tones? maybe the next model..huh? Partially true...... You can only monitor 1 Frequency at a time. It will scan through a bunch of tones but only on 1 freq. Such as all your company tones on your paging channels or multiple depts on 46.46/46.10

Does anyone have the code to unlock the full software version for the BCT 15? Yah, open your checkbook, and pay for it! You can purchase a copy at my site if you'd like. A very small part of it goes back to me if you choose to go that route. www.w2lie.net/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.26
