I tried replying to this post (http://fireemsli.proboards26.com/index.cgi?board=radio&action=display&thread=1074817677) but its locked. Does anyone know what the signals are for Massapequa and North Massapequa. I know they aren't using the standard Nassau signals. I have a buddy in one of the firehouses, and he still forgets to write them down for me.
Can anyone help me out?? Thanks!

We use the standard Nassau signals in both depts, if there is something you are specifically listening too that doesnt sound standard PM me and I will try to help you out. The only I can think of off the top of my head that could be throwing you off is Sig 99 which is our way in 630 saying its an investigation.

Why play games with codes? Why not just announce it as an "investigation"? That's like Uniondale FD using Signal-70 for a working car fire, instead of just saying "working car fire".

Plain english is just the best way to go with everything. No confusion that way.
