Any one have any info on Bay Shore going to High band radio?

Bay Shore FD is going High Band in the near future. There are a few problems being work out with the portable radios right now. All fire fightering vehicle do have H/B moblie units in them and the system is up and running. Any more questions just ask.

And the freq are as follows.
471.2500 BSFD Dispatch on repeater 476.2500 Fire Ground NO repeater

I am not sure about the 476.4000 freq. What I do know we have 4 freqs right not; 1-dispatch 2-fire ground 3-fire ground 2 4-FAST Team
Thats what is programed into the new radios we are not using right now.

Bay Shore's UHF is fully operational now, truck to truck though is suppose to be simulcasted on 46.44 for the time being.

As of this week BSFD is back on Low-Band for the time being... There was a few issues with some of the mobile units and portables not either transmitting or receiving. Hopefully the problem will be work out asap.

if memory serves me correctly 476.400 is a fequ that for some reason or another is NOT supported in Motorola radios.....
Motorola has had issues with that for some time, and basically the radio will accept the frequ., but may not work properly...
I'll find out a bit more later today..

As of 7/26/06 the Bay Shore FD is back on High Band. Most of the problems we were having seamed to have been worked out. Sorry for the late notice...
