Does any body know what the primary UHF frequencies and PL the following departments use:
Smithtown FD Brentwood FD E. Brentwood FD N. Patchogue FD Patchogue FD E. Quogue FD E. Farmingdale UHF to low repeater S. Country VAC

just to add to scannermans list:
Smithtown is not low power (but is a crappy repeater)
East Brentwood uses Brentwood UHF 476.800 for ops, but they do have their own as scannerman stated.
North Patch also tones out on 453.075 DCS 031

Thanks, my only other question is how can you check to see if a frequency is narrow band or wide band

Thanks, my only other question is how can you check to see if a frequency is narrow band or wide band technically everything in the T-Band (470-512) is "supposed" to be narrow band 12.5 -vs- 25 spacing. It's all in the programing of the repeater and the radios. You really wont notice a difference in sound in a scanner.
