lADDER 3, Do you know where these are ran from? That way I won't waste time listening to one that's beyond my reception area.
THanks

Do you want him to program them in your radio for you too? lol Try them all out. Different people hear different things. Reception works in different ways. You may pick up what someone else cant. It doesnt hurt to try them. You wont be wasting any time if you cant hear anything b/c it wont hold up your radio. ;D

Yes, I would like u to program it for me too......Some of these xbands aren't "constant up" and while listening to it on your scanner might be a breeze for ya, It gets a little more complicated when putting them into a motorola portable for monitoring purposes. I figured that since the purpose of this board is to share information that someone would chime in.
If you do a search on cross bands on the various groups out there, you'll see a lot of conflicting information.
THanks

As for your "constant up" theory, the only one I believe isnt always on was the 46.12 crossband out of Roslyn. I have not been within earshot of it in a while but I know it used to only activate when a Roslyn portable keyed up. The 46.32 crossband runs out of Roosevelt. It has no pl and has decent coverage to about the Nassau/Suffolk border. I cannot vouch for the others.
Hopefully I shared my knowledge to your satisfaction ;D ladder3 prob knows a bit more about this then I do. Good luck!

Just an FYI guys, these patches are great. Just keep in mind, by using these patches, your actually transmitting off a low band base station on a firehouse somewhere (30 to 100+ watts most likely). For radio courtesy, just remember that your not really using a 5 watt portable, and you can easily blow others off the air that are actually using low band portables.

Luke, Thanks... It's hard to figure out what's new and what's expired info on all these frequency lists online. I've started my own list of verified freqs for Nassau and the Nassau?Suffolk border area. If anyone wants it, pm me... Anyhow- I was not aware that these were always on.. Now I know.
The Roslyn xb Does have pretty decent coverage. They used to run RICK units in all chief vehicles and fly car but that didnt work out too well,
