Which dept in nassau co plan on using uhf t-band for toning out co's and use for primary ops as well. oceanside and island have been doing it for a while. freeport is repoted to be in the slow process of going uhf as well. the old 46 meg days will slowly be phased out it looks like!!!!!!!

UHF T-band is 470-520. Neither OFD nor IPFD use T-band. The only departments I can think of in Nassau that use T-band for ops are:
Massapequa Elmont Levittown Plainview Sea Cliff Syosset Uniondale Wantagh
I will assume that they also tone out above 470...
Someone must know more on this than I do.

Levittown and Uniondale still alert on 46.10, Levittown is self dispatched and firecom alerts Uniondale.

Levittown and Uniondale still alert on 46.10, Levittown is self dispatched and firecom alerts Uniondale. levittown does use UHF T-band. its technically there fireground, but they give there reports, 21's, 22's and all that good stuff on the 470.300 frequency.

Levittown actually gives there 21'2 & 22'2 over their lowband which is 46.32
