anyone have a list of all the FC/FR/EMS identifiers and what each one is or specializes in?
I know some of the FCs have different functions or specialties, like LIRR or HAZMAT and etc.

I believe FC35 is a Public Infomation Officer, but I may be wrong. It would not be the first time....

Here it is: FC=Fire Coordinator FR=FRES Responder FM=Fire Marshal
FR1 is the Commissioner(Also FC1) FR2 is the deputy FR3 is the ESDIII No FR4-9 FR10 is the Director of OEM NO FR11 FR12 is the Evacuation Coordinator FR13 is the Resource Coordinator FR14 is the Ambulance Consultant No FR15 FR16 and 17 are HAZ-MAT and WMD Trainers The others down the list you would never hear on the radio.
Dispatchers are given the designation of ESD#
And the FM is self explainitory. There are 8 of them.
FC 35 is Paul Llobell, he is the deputy PIO and assistant to the commissioner. He is also a part of the photo unit.
The other FC's are assigned specific tasks, though all are considered assistants to the Commissioner. Those tasks include, but are not limited to HazMat, WMD, Tech Rescue, LIRR Operations, Water Rescue/Dive Team, Aircraft Emergency and so on.
EMS Division also has several identifiers, ranging from EMS-1, through EMS-10, plus the Field Doctors.
FR Units wont key up too much (Except for FR1, 2 and 3) unless there is a significant event, such as large brush fires, weather events, etc. FR-12, 13, 14 and 10 are assigned to the EOC during times of disaster, but will occasionaly go to the scene or local jurisdiction to coordinate efforts. FR-12 rolls to a lot of big fires, where families are left homeless. he coordinates with the American Red Cross to find them shelter. FR13 Will respond to the EOC, but from time to time go to the town level to assist and coordinate all county, state and other mutual aid resources.
There are 3 other units you could possibly here on the FRES Band, CD1, 2, 3. Those are the SCPD officers assigned to the OEM year round. CD stands for Civil Defense, though the term hasnt been used in years, the identifier still exists.
Hope that answers your questions.

Also, and i forgot these, FR20-24 are the part-time Resource Management Officers. You may have heard one of them while we were gathering damage assesments.

"FR" stands for Fire-Rescue, not FRES Responder Sean.
