I just purchased this unit, along with the USB cable. Is there a way to upload stored freqs from my laptop onto the scanner?

I've always favored the copy & paste method.
Go to your favorite website for your freqs, and copy the info from there, and paste into Excel (or any other spreadsheet program you happen to use).
THEN, just copy the freqs for Excel into Win97, and update your radio.
If you are still having problems, let me know..

are you using the CTRL-C / CTRL-V method, or the Mouse Right click copy/paste method?

I know how to:
There should be a button that says pgm (or program), hit that button, on the bottom of the channel number it will say pgm........type the frequency number, hit enter.........then just hit scan.
Then you will be able to listen to S.C.P.D.
(I ought to become a scanner programmer.......i'd make a million doing it)
