Try the Public Safety UHF freqs:
F-1 471.3375 F-2 471.3625 F-3 470.3625 F-4 471.3875
F-4 is also designated for Township use for FD/Ems/Town, OEM might be on this. Islip Pub/Saf also has a talkgroup on the County 800 system.

Gee thanks....lol Do you have the correct info for us? Its easy to point out something being wrong but at least make a suggestion of another frequency or say you dont have the correct info and will get it or even that you have information to prove that the above info is incorrect.

We really don't want to distribute these freqs on the board because certain whackers with little keypad radios will torture anyone they see fit.. Why add fuel to the fire.

Luke, the freqs I posted are from radioreference.com, I dont what what specifically OEM uses, but those other freqs are used by Islip Town Public Safety. They also have a talk group on the County 800 system.
intheknow, what is it that I posted that is incorrect?
pardon my french, but your posts come off as "dickish". Maybe it's just that you don't know.

Gargamel37,
Simply put, the info is incorrect. To correct your post would create problems (see previous post).
They only one with a dickish response was you, to be frank.
If you knew of the problems in the 3rd division right now, you woul understand the reason for the post.
P.S. Obviously the info on radioreference is incorrect as well.

RadioReference is a great tool, but not updated as frequently as it could be.

And yes, I'm very aware of our problem in the 3rd Div (my dept was one of the MANY that were being affected). But our little friend was arrested a few weeks ago & things have seemed to be getting back to normal (finally!) Capt371, RR is pretty good, but I do miss the Fordyce site!!!

Well, dont read too much into my RR comment. Though i did send them an email to update the DCS on our f-Ground, and it still isnt up. That was a month or two ago. Is that the normal turnaround for them? I wouldnt know, i just started using them with my Win97 program, excellent tool, but the AlphaTags need a little tweaking.
