Well, thanks to tommyscan, they went to Nassau county's DA freq. 158.835/516 is there new home on the spectrum. With 300 watts off of NUMC this repeater sounds great. Hope they never fix the Jones Beach water tower antenna that went on the fritz. Now not only do we hear both sides of the comms, but so can the troopers. Not so with 155.505, a complaint a trooper I know had.

I'm confused! Last night Troop L was back on 155.4600 and not on 158.835!

Well as of 11:00 today, Troop L is again on the Nassau DA repeater [158.835]. I'm going to ask my trooper buddy what that's all about.

NYSP Troop L has been on the repeater channel for the past few days. I hope it is permanent... it puts out quite a signal!

Just to cover all the bases, I programed: 155.46, 155.505 & 158.835. That's the ticket!

It appears that NYSP Troop L has been operating on their old VHF simplex frequency of 155.460 MHz for about the past 30 days. I also keep all three channels programmed just in case they start moving around again.
