ITFD toned out around 3am 6-2-09 for a MVA heavy rescue requested, correct location was sunrise hwy. east of connequat ave....., before the merge. single car MVA single patient unconscious as per Sayville community chief on scene. All ITFD chiefs on scene along with Engine 3-6-2, and heavy rescue 3-6-5, and 3-6-84(first responder), ITFD ambulance was OOS called in CIHVA who transported the patient to south side. First time working a tool job on a hybrid car, everybody has to remember size up is key in hybrids to locate the batteries and know where the high voltage cable runs
All crews worked very well all units on scene all ITFD chiefs 30,31,32,Heavy Rescue 3-6-5, Engine 3-6-2,3-6-84, EIFD ambulance, CIHVA ambulance, Sayville Community Chief

yes the terrace had to 24 cihva and east islip because exchange could not get out don't know why they probably on other alarms. but the tool job went well by both crews from unit 362 and 365 and the sheriffs were very helpful by shutting down sunrise so the crews can work. unit 362 also has a tool so in conjunction with unit 365 both tools and rams were used smoothly
