Caught Amityville on 477.425/114 the other day. Can 477.450 be far away?

Was it repeated? Was there another UHF freq they were supposed to use? Has that freq been replaced with this current one?

They have 460.5. I've heard them use it for fire ground. The 477.425 was a simulcast of 45.20. Sounds like the first stage of a switch over to UHF.

Very well. I haven't been able to hear them in years so hopefully the new UHF will solve the problems. Thanks.

So does that mean that amityville F.D. will not be on frequency 45.20 anymore ? I hear them loud and clear now

Untill they complete the switch to uhf, and then they might continue to use it for paging untill they phase in uhf pagers.
