Saturday 00:08 hours ITFD dispatched for a MVA at the intersection of Carleton Ave, Spur drive north. Chief 3-6-30 on scene requesting 4th with for Heavy rescue an Engine and the ambulance for a 2 car MVA. One car t-boned in the passengers door with 2 patients unresponsive one patient with obvious deformity to his right femur, and pelvis. Heavy Rescue 3-6-5 worked 2 tools, 2 cutters Engine 3-6-2 handled fire suppression, and worked their own tool and cutters unit 3-6-1 went to the federal Court house down the road for the requested HELO which did not land. ITFD ambulance 3-6-16 took the most critical patient VIA ground to south side and Exchange took the second critical patient to unknown hospital Both critical patients were extricated from the vehicle under 9 mins. so a very well done job by both crews working the scene. while cleaning up PD advised the scene became a crime scene. This location has become the location for at least 6 tool jobs in the past year, people just try and beat the light and the odds are against them
PD stated the driver of the infinity converted the car for racing and was under the influence and tried to beat the red light which ended up t-boning the other car, the t-boned car was pushed 60 or so feet down spur drive north.

yes this was the second nite time mva that the two crews from unit 365 and unit 362 worked as a team the first mva sunrise hwy and now this one good job to the crews of 362 and 365
