Why is it everybody is complaining about SPD getting an ambulance? Most departments are stretched to the limit now with EMS. A little help is not such a bad thing. Is it? Nassau does it and it seems to work pretty good. Any comments??

b/c MUTTS aka BOFC's cannot think outside the box. Dept's were stretched to the limit years ago and nothing was done. Now the BOFC's use part-time whores to try and patch the levee and some of them still can't get out. I think Long Island is the only place in this country where you won't get an ambulance in a reasonable amount of time if you're having a heart attack. The only problem would be the eastern towns where we have our own PD's.
