Melville FD handled 42 alarms between 0800 hrs and 1130 hrs during the rain storm. How did other FD's fair?

I'm exhausted, b/w back2back AA's and making coffee for the dinasours I think I'm gonna bang in for work later. I swear an F5 tornado can roll through the district and we wouldn't get a single call.

Yeah 39 were "fire" type calls (water rescue, collapses, fire, and even a land slide.) 3 Were "rescue type calls for Melville between 0800 hrs and 1130 hrs. About 4 or 5 since 1200 hrs.

NB had like seven calls all related AFA's water rescues DPFD was running like crazy also w/mutial aids to DHFD

Better yet is that when they see a car stuck, they go faster and allow the water to rush over the nose of the car, drowning the engine. I was laughing at people all day. Shows you how ignorant people are. Thankfully, nobody was hurt, maybe their ego's were.
