well by knowing it came from sig 66 helps to know that if its an ems call that its been floating around for some times 3 minutes or more, so it has nothing to do with how fast we get out , it has do with possibly how fast it was floating around 911 before it got to us

It helps us because we know the police will be responding and can use them as a landmark for where the call location is.
additionally if this is an incident requiring some sort of traffic / scene regulation we no not to request thembc they are already en route. it takes half a second to transmit I dont think its time committment is that severe.
