If you have come here looking for the Long Island and Northeast Scanning Forum, unfortunately it will no longer be available. Due to the ongoing attempts by one or a few "in-duh-viduals" to disrupt this site and a recent hacker attack instigated by one of them (which changed and deleted the forum database), as well as the likelihood that such attacks would continue, I have taken down the forum.
Many of those who used the forum know exactly to whom I am referring. I had hoped this idiot would grow tired of his game, but sadly, it appears he has nothing else to do with his time. Unlike him, I have a life. I cannot - and won't - spend hours on end trying to keep a determined moron away and/or undoing the damage he does. I'm sure the pitiful individual who has devoted so much time and energy to disrupting things here will feel that he has won. And at first glance, perhaps it will seem to most that he has. Taking a second look the vast majority of of those who used this site - and anyone with a life - will clearly see him for what he is, however. A loser is always a loser, and he would only win by forcing us to continue playing his game. That's not going to happen - I (and no doubt all of us) have too many other things to do with my time than to waste it dealing with any infantile and moronic individual. He can find someone else to try and play his game with.
It's an unfortunate reality that all too often a tiny percentage of immature and anti-social morons out there end up ruining things for the vast majority of the population. I must thank all those who helped make the forum an excellent resource for scanners all over the northeast and beyond over the past few years. 99.99% of its members were positive contributors who respected the forum's guidelines and their fellow members. I'm sorry I cannot continue to provide the forum that so many have found so helpful and like most of you will miss having such a great resource at my fingertips. While I may revert the site back to its original form of frequency lists, those lists will not provide the up-to-date and extensive information the forums did.
Adios, good luck and keep listening.
