If memory serves me correctly...
1.Syosset (17 sq mi) 2. Westbury (13.2 sq mi) 3. Manhasset-Lakeville (12.2 sq mi) 4. Wantagh (12.0 sq mi) 5. Massapequa (11-ish sq mi)
TINY! compared to some of the Suffolk county districts.....

Actually, Roslyn has 11.5 Square miles of coverage and is soon to have more...... How much "land" does Wantagh actually cover?

I think it's that run to the beach that pushes Wantagh ahead...I could be wrong though.
There was a list out several years back that listed it all out 1-71....with people like S. Floral Park, The Bellrose's, and Floral Pk. Centre (their whole 2 by 6 blocks!)....landing at the bottom.

Anyone wanna guess what the samllest area in Nassau is?
I'll bet on Plandome who covers a few blocks i think. Their firehouse is also the police station, and their town hall.

I would say it's either Floral Park Ctr., S. Floral Pk., Bellrose, or Bellrose terrace....
Each of those is litterally 3-4 blocks wide by 3-4 blocks long...

While were at it, is plandome in fact the smallest district in the county? I 'm not sure but I don't believe it is. And the largest volly district in the state, who is it? Someone please enlighten me!

I think I heard somewhere Manorville was the biggest in state. If it isn't is has to be close to the top of the list.

Hello fellow firefighters, as I lurk here frequently. I thought I would chime in here with my 2 cents from way up in western ny. I do believe that Brockport Fire dept. ranks right up there with 75+ square miles and 4 fire stations. And all of you have a Happy Holiday.
